The primary site factors create all the essential prerequisites for the successful attraction and establishment of high-tech companies. With numerous facilities for work and recreation, from service center to entertainment center, a technology park has been developed based on the concept of a campus, with state-of-the-art communications technology. The area has been consistently developed according to state-of-the-art and ecological criteria: fiber optic technology, local loop, Internet provider and backbone are only some of of the aspects of this technology-oriented facility.
The PRE Park is a conversion project and an economic redevelopment area. The state of Rhineland-Palatinate offers very interesting customized assistance programs for business settlement. The PRE in close cooperation with the Economic Development Agency of the city of Kaiserslautern is available to answer all questions regarding economic and settlement assistance.
Comprehensive service and consulting offerings have been developed for the companies settled in the park, including start-ups in particular. There is also intensive cooperation with the technology transfer offices of the University of Kaiserslautern, the institutes, the Chambers of Commerce, the municipal government, and the state government.

Until today 180.000 square meters of net building area could be marketed; more than 70.000 square meters of office space have already been leased. New buildings are under construction. The well conceived structural planning of the Park concept has made this enormously fast realization possible and offers additional interested companies important site benefits, from interesting services to various synergy effects.
